Match the engagement model to your size
A large retainer agency is overkill for a business spending a few thousand rupees a month, and a done-for-you managed service is a better fit. Larger brands needing integrated creative and media are better served by a full-service agency.
Ask how they report
Good agencies show you the metrics that map to your outcome and explain what changed and why. Vague dashboards full of vanity metrics are a warning sign. Ask to see a sample report before you sign.
Check independent reviews
Look for ratings you can verify on third-party platforms, and treat an agency's own testimonials as marketing, not evidence. Where a publisher recommends an agency it owns, that connection should be disclosed (as we disclose ours).
